EcoTrack version 1.1.10 has been successfully released with a new feature: “Allowance Management”.
This new feature is available to all accounts using EcoTrack services for the steel, cement, and thermal power sectors. It is designed to support emissions management for facilities subject to emissions allowance allocation, following the official launch of Vietnam’s Carbon Exchange on June 29, 2026.
Key features of “Allowance Management”
The system now allows users to:
- Configure emission sources within the scope of allowance allocation;
- Enter actual and projected production output throughout the allowance allocation period;
- Use these data to calculate and forecast emissions at the end of the allocation period;
- Assess the facility’s projected allowance surplus or deficit, supporting more informed participation in the carbon market
Other improvements
In addition to the new feature, version 1.1.10 includes several improvements to the user interface and overall user experience:
- Fixed outstanding issues in key functions, including emissions data entry and viewing, user management, and access permissions;
- Fixed bugs and other issues related to the application workflow and deployment process.
The update has been fully deployed and is now ready to use. Users can log in to EcoTrack to start using the latest version.
